A research-based therapy to strengthen your relationships
I have over 10 years experience working with children, couples and families. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1 & 2) and Tier 1 training in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS). I have a comfort practicing under a variety of theories and techniques.
Specific areas of clinical focus include: relationships, trauma, children’s issues, behavioral & emotional concerns, and parent-child relationship enhancement. I also am skilled in treating depression, anxiety and stress. I also proudly serve as a provider for The Returning Veterans Project.
My greatest passion is working with couples and individuals who are looking for tools to navigate relationship difficulties, traumas, and major life transitions.
I help couples improve communication, rekindle intimacy and improve awareness of patterns which may result in defensiveness, or feeling "not heard" by your partner. Together we develop goals & strategies for cultivating positive changes.
Individuals grow in relationships and I am interested in helping couples develop loving, constructive and creative relationship environment in which growth can flourish in satisfying ways.
I approach therapy with warmth, and acceptance. My mode of treatment is designed to get you back to living the life you want. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where I help my clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore new ways of being in the world. I will work with you to create positive changes in your life.
Modalities I use in my practice are: Gottman Method Couple Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment theory, Mindfulness, Trauma Focus-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focus Therapy, etc.
