Modalities I use in my practice are: Gottman Method Couple Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment theory, Mindfulness, Trauma Focus-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focus Therapy, etc.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where I help my clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore new ways of being in the world. I have over 10 years experience working with individuals, couples and families. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1 & 2), EMDR therapy, and Tier 1 training in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS). I have a comfort practicing under a variety of theories and techniques.
I help couples improve communication, rekindle intimacy and improve awareness of patterns which may result in defensiveness, or feeling "not heard" by your partner. Together we develop goals & strategies for cultivating positive changes.
I work with couples to heal their individuals traumas. I use EMDR therapy as a tool to help couples get to the core of their negative cycles and issues that keep them from being secure and happy in their relationships. We have found that people who’ve suffered trauma can greatly benefit from EMDR therapy. Once they’ve completed the therapy they are better able to develop the trust and closeness needed for a secure and happy relationship with their peer group, with their families and with their partners.
